The following Terms and Conditions govern the GetSolar Pte Ltd (“GetSolar”) Referral Program.

By participating in the Referral Program (“Program”), both Referrers and Referrals agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions & Eligibility Criteria

1.1. Referrer

An existing GetSolar customer who has received a valid referral code via email or WhatsApp and is eligible to refer others under this Program.

1.2. Referral

A new customer referred by a Referrer who meets all qualifying criteria and proceeds with a solar panel installation under GetSolar’s Rent-to-Own (“RTO”) program.

1.3. Qualified Referral

A Referral is considered qualified only if:

• The Referral enters the Referrer’s referral code when completing the GetSolar online solar calculator tool (https://calculator.getsolar.ai). 

• The Referral signs a contract and successfully installs a solar system with GetSolar under the RTO program.

• The Referral is at least 18 years of age, a legal resident of Singapore, owns a landed property, and meets GetSolar’s eligibility criteria for solar panel installation. 

• If a Referral completes the solar simulator before obtaining a referral code but has not yet received a sales proposal, they may still be eligible if they subsequently provide a valid referral code.

2. Rewards & Disbursement

2.1. Referrer Reward

• The Referrer will receive a cash reward of SGD $250 for each Qualified Referral.

• The reward will be disbursed within 30 business days after the Referral’s solar system has been successfully commissioned and full payment has been completed.

• The Referrer must ensure their payment details are provided to GetSolar for successful disbursement.

2.2. Referral Benefit

• The Referral will receive a discount on their solar system, determined based on system size. The discount amount will be communicated at the proposal stage.

• This discount cannot be combined with other promotions or offers. 

2.3. Payment Method & Terms

• Rewards will be paid via bank transfer or other approved payment methods specified by GetSolar.

• Any discrepancies or issues in reward disbursement must be reported within 60 days from the date of installation.

• GetSolar reserves the right to verify Referral eligibility and may delay or withhold payment if fraud, misrepresentation, or ineligibility is suspected.

3. Program Participation & Process Tracking

3.1. Tracking Process

• Referral Code Entry: The Referral must enter the Referrer’s code in the GetSolar online solar calculator tool.

• Sales Proposal Stage: The referral code remains linked to the Referral’s profile throughout the proposal process and contracting process.

• Contract & Installation: If the Referral signs a contact and installs a solar system, GetSolar verifies eligibility for rewards upon successful system commissioning.

• Reward Notification & Disbursement: Once the system is commissioned and payment is completed, the Referrer is notified, and the reward is processed within 30 business days.

3.2. Handling Dispute or Errors

• In cases where multiple Referrers claim the same Referral, the first valid referral code entered in GetSolar’s system will be honoured.

• If a Referral fails to enter a referral code but later requests to be linked to a Referrer, GetSolar may accept the request at its sole discretion, provided no other valid referral code is linked to the Referral.

• GetSolar reserves the right to correct any errors in tracking and reward disbursement, with final decisions made at its sole discretion.

4. Limitations & Restrictions

4.1. Referral Limits

• Each Referral can only be counted once; duplicate referrals will not be considered.

• A Referrer may refer multiple individuals, but rewards will only be given for successful installations.

4.2. Exclusions & Restrictions

• Referrers cannot refer themselves or their immediate family members residing at the same address.

• Employees, agents, or contractors of GetSolar and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

• Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be resold or auctioned.

• Fraudulent, misleading, or unethical referral practices will result in disqualification from the Program.

4.3. Program Changes & Termination

• GetSolar reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice.

• Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated via GetSolar’s website or direct customer notifications.

• Continued participation in the Program after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

5. General Terms

5.1. Data Privacy

• By participating in the Program, Referrers and Referrals agree that their personal data may be collected, stored, and processed by GetSolar for the purpose of administering the Program.

• Data will be handled in accordance with GetSolar’s Privacy Policy, available at https://getsolar.ai/legal/privacy/.

5.2. Marketing & Publicity

• GetSolar reserves the right to use customer visuals, recordings, and installation content for promotions.

• Referrers and Referrals may opt out of promotional use by contacting GetSolar’s support team.

5.3. Governing Law & Jurisdiction 

• This Program is governed by the laws of Singapore.

• Any disputes arising from the Program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

5.4. Liability Limitations

• GetSolar is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delays in reward disbursement due to technical failures, incorrect details provided by participants, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• GetSolar’s liability under this Program is limited to the reward amounts stated and does not extend to indirect or consequential damages.

6. Agreement

By participating in the Program, Referrers and Referrals confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
