GetSolar, formerly Solar AI Technologies, was founded in 2020 to simplify the process of adopting rooftop solar and drive the transition to clean energy across Southeast Asia. Seed-funded by ENGIE, a global leader in renewable energy, our mission is to empower property owners with the tools they need to embrace solar energy, helping to build a sustainable, zero-carbon future.

As part of the green energy transformation, we understand that solar photovoltaics are among the top solutions to reverse climate change, according to Project Drawdown. With an innovative approach to solar sales, GetSolar is making solar energy more accessible, scalable, and affordable for everyone—driving the adoption of impactful projects that create lasting positive change.

Earning $130 a Month from Solar Energy

Customer issue

Julius saw an opportunity to leverage solar energy not only to cut down on his electricity costs but also to maximize the potential of his roof space for energy generation. He was particularly interested in Singapore’s energy buyback scheme, where he could sell excess solar energy back to the grid, turning his home into a mini power station. By doing so, he not only reduced his electricity bill but also earned an additional ~$130 per month from selling surplus energy.
